Resonate (a docu-short)

Creating "shorts" is what I imagine it's like to write & share music. Out comes: a journaling of experience from a particular perspective, or the sharing of a story, life, testimony, or a call to action. Even within the documentary style, it's an expressive form of art that builds connection, awareness and even invites us to love. And within, what seems to be my niche, of 3 - 15 minutes.

Usually, I create for the ministry from collections of photos, video and audio files that I'm provided with, blended with a few of my own additions as needed. Personally, I love the whole "work with what you've got" scenario. But this one is different.

"Resonate" is a first of it's kind for me. Although the details are left very much unexplained, it quite accurately depicts an experience in a way that words cannot. Having restrictions on what can be shared from here, actually provided the freedom to be creative in a way that I haven't explored before. Come, join me for a moment in time here overseas...enjoy!
